Weekly Paws (June 23, 2025)

 Exciting News!

We are officially out of East Peoria!  Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who made this possible.  An open house will be scheduled in the near future. Keep an eye out for updates!

New Cat Program!

We got a wild hair and are thrilled to announce that we are starting a small cat program! Meet Cathleen, our first cat foster.

Generous Grants Received in June:

- Community Foundation Grant: $2,000   

  A huge shoutout to Kristal for helping secure this!   

- Emma Loves Dogs Foundation: $1,500 for our long-term fosters and hospice dogs.

Growing Our Hospice/Lifer Program:

We’ve welcomed a few more dogs into our hospice program in May and June!  We currently have six dogs who will be lifetime members of our pack.

We are so grateful for the support, having received over $36,000 from the Cat Match Program for their 100th anniversary!

Dog Daters Needed!

We need you! Taking a dog out helps socialize them and exposes them to new experiences. It’s an essential outing that benefits the dogs and gives us a fresh perspective.
