About the event

ATTENTION: here are the rules for our online auction: we will post on Facebook from time to time until the conclusion of the auction on September 10, 2023 This auction is for a great cause and we want it to be FUN! Nasty comments, cyberbullying, and the like will not be tolerated and the poster will be banned from page. If you have an issue with another member, please send us a PM and one of the admins will look into the situation. We thank you in advance and look forward to fun from September 8-10

Auction rules:

1. Auction Dates: The bidding will run from 6 pm September 8 to Noon on September 10 CDT and will be held on this Facebook Auction page: Barktion for Pet Pack Rescue

2. Early Bidding: No early bidding is allowed. All bids placed before 6 pm on September 8 will be deleted to ensure fairness of the bidding process.

3. Currency and Bid Increments: The currency of the auction will be the US Dollar ($) and bids must be in whole dollar amounts. A numerical bid in the comments will be deemed a bid in US dollars. No special provisions will be made for any bidder for conditional bids.

4. Donor Bidding: Donors cannot place bids on item they have donate for the auction. Bids of that nature will be deleted.

5. Reserve Price: Items for auction may have a reserve price. The reserve bid will be the minimum bid required for the item to be won by a bidder

6. Shipping fees: Fees will vary depending on the item, the donor, and the destination. If shipping is desired the cost to ship will be paid by the winner.

7. Winning Bid: At the end of the auction, administrators will close out the auction by commenting that the bidding has closed on each item. They will list the winning bid and winning bidder's name.

8. Auction end time: Bidding will end at Noon on Septemer 10. If there are multiple bids at the last minute, screens shots will be used to determine who the winning bid is.

9. Winner Notification: All winners will be notified of their winning items via FB PM from an auction administrator. Please remember to check your "other" messages in case you are not friends with the administrator that sends you the winning message.

10. PayPal and Square will be our methods of payment. Total amounts due will be paid through PayPal or Square. Please remember to select "Friends and Family" so no fees are deducted. Payment in full is due within 10 days of being notified that you are the winning bid. At that time, unpaid items will be offered to the next highest bidder.

11. Name, Address, Alias: Please include your full name and address in the comments of your PayPal payment. If you use an alias on FB (like your pet's name), please note that name so we can match up your payment with your FB bidder name.

12. Items will ship no later than September 20, 2023 for all bidders that have paid in full on time.

13. Group page monitoring: The administrators will monitor the auction page until all items have been paid for and received. Page administrators are: Alyssa Emanuelson, June Smothers, Melissa Diggle, Glenda Emanuelson.

14. Damaged Items: If your item is lost/damaged during shipping, the auction administrators will have the option of refunding your money or accepting it as a donation to Pet Pack Rescue Initiative.

15. Compensation: The page administrators are volunteering their time and not receiving any compensation for the auction. They are afforded no advantage in bidding.
